Reference usersForschungszentrum Jülich, Peter Grünberg Institute 9, contact via Katja Palmen (k.palmen@fz-juelich.de). PGI9 uses SampleDB to provide researchers with prompt and location independent access to sample and measurement information. Python scripts are used to analyze the raw data of experiment and measurement facilities, filter out relevant metadata and transfer them into the SampleDB instance. Additionally, files are uploaded to the samples and measurements via the SampleDB HTTP API. SampleDB is used to keep track of the life cycle of samples including all measurements, and to fulfill the FAIR principles.
